Guess who I met?!?
Hello internet world! And Happy (belated) New Year!
I'll be back in a few days with actual food recipes, but today I share with you a fun story from my trip last weekend to the Fancy Food Show in SF with ladies from my cake club.
Hours of tasting sweet and savory food samples was a blast, but the highlight of the day: I got to meet two famous, and awesomely nice, cake decorators.
Duff Goldman (from Ace of Cakes)...
... and James Rosselle (from Food Network cake challenges).
Duff's laugh is just as great in person as it is on TV... and James is even cuter in person than he is on TV. :)
They were just two normal guys, but I definitely felt like a 13 year old girl in their presence; awe-struck and excited by my proximity to them and their cake celebrity status.
Anywhoo, that was an exciting way to start of 2011 for me. And there's lots of exciting changes in store for this year-- stay tuned for more details....
